Decorating for Easter Sunday
On April 4, at 9:00 a.m. we will decorate the sanctuary for Easter! All are welcome to join and lend a hand.
Easter Lilies
You may donate money ($20 per plant) and the office will purchase flowers to grace our worship areas. A list of names for loved ones honored will appear in the bulletins on Easter.
Please fill out a form, by Monday, March 30, available in the church office.
Holy Week Services
During Holy Week, March 30 through April 3, we will have noon services with lunch provided.

Sack Lunches Mission Possible Wednesday, April 8
We will be making sack lunches on Wednesday, April 8 at 6:00 p.m. The sack lunches we make will be distributed by Trinity Lutheran Church’s downtown lunch ministry. If we have several volunteers on April 8, we can branch into a second mission project of constructing our indoor greenhouse to be used for our RCFUMC summer camps in June and August. Everyone serving is welcome to join us for dinner at the church beginning at 5:30 p.m. There will be a sign-up sheet in the church narthex. Signing up lets us know how much food to prepare for dinner and how many hands we will have for service projects. If we have enough hands, we will add a third mission activity. Come be the hands and feet of Christ at Rapid City First United Methodist Church!
Needed: Volunteer(s) to deliver sack lunches to Trinity Lutheran Church on the morning of Thursday, April 9. This is a 30-minute service opportunity. Trinity Lutheran is close enough to load the lunches into a shopping cart and walk over from RCFUMC or you can load in your car and drive.
Welcome Rhonda Williams to our Church staff
We welcome Rhonda Williams as the newest member of the church staff. Rhonda is training to become the co-financial administrator alongside our existing administrator, Kotti Wickard.
Rhonda is a devoted church member who has invested her time at Rapid City First United Methodist making her involvement productive as an ambassador and one who assists with coffee fellowship. Please welcome her to this new role.
This position generated a fair amount of interest. So, thanks to those who applied and others who at least considered this position.
Mission Team Serving at Cornerstone
Answering the call to be the hands and feet of Christ out in the world, Rapid City First United Methodist is partnering with Cornerstone Mission to serve meals on the 2nd Tuesday (May 12th), beginning with setup at 4:30 p.m. and serving at 5:30 p.m. We are looking for at least 6 servers for the meals, as well as people to help cook, bake, and coordinate the meal. This is open to anyone who is interested in being part of a team, working together to bring not only a hot, nutritious meal but also the love of Christ to those Cornerstone serves.
