shared prayer.

Lenten Study
Our Lenten study this year is “Seven Words,” by the Rev. Susan Robb. This study will engage adults on six consecutive Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in the parlor. This follows a 5:30 p.m. meal in the same place.
In Seven Words, Robb looks at the seven last words or phrases Christ uttered from the cross. According to the distributor, Robb accomplishes that look through a lens that finds life and hope in Christ’s final sayings, while exploring each from a biblical and historical perspective.
The class will view videos and discuss Robb’s book during the study, which will be led by Pastors CC and Duane. At least the first chapter of the book will be available this Sunday, Feb. 22. Because your giving supports adult education, the books are available for $10 each.
Workshop March 12:
RU New2 the Black Hills and Rapid City?
New to the area? Discover the best hidden gems your neighborhood has to offer!
Do you wish you knew more about living in the Rapid City region? This 90-minute explore-your-new-home workshop will give you the tools you need to take advantage of all that living in the Black Hills region offers. We’ll also help demystify local vocabulary—like neighborhood names and key landmarks—to ensure you feel right at home. If you are eager to explore more but aren’t sure where to begin, this workshop will help you get jumpstarted with tips for navigating the Hills, and guide your next steps to hiking, camping, biking, and paddling. This workshop is free (donations accepted), staffed by volunteers as a service to new residents. Registration is required for attendance, and seating is limited.
You can contact Lennie Symes if you are interested or you can sign up on the link below.
Sundays During Children's Church March 1- April 5
Easter Journeys
Easter Journeys is a six-part adventure that invites children to walk step-by-step through the true story of Easter. They will travel with Jesus into Jerusalem, sit with Him in the Upper Room, pray with Him in the Garden of Gethsemane, reflect at the cross on Golgotha, and celebrate the joy of the empty tomb.
Each part of the journey shows us who Jesus is and what He has done for us. As children travel through each week, they will add a stamp to their passport or journey map. Each stop along the way will be filled with interactive storytelling, games, and crafts. Every step points to God's plan of salvation and leads to the greatest truth of all: Jesus gave His life for us and is alive forever, walking with each of us as we travel through life.
